The photo book tells the story of the fall of the communist system in Romania, which was characterized by bloodshed and violence in 1989. More than one hundred deaths and hundreds of injured was the price paid only by the people of Timișoara: the first city in the country that rebelled against the totalitarian regime of Ceaușescu.

This project is meant to be a tribute to the martyrs and heroes of Timișoara, the ones who sacrificed or risked their lives for freedom.
